I have spent my entire life as an artist and pursing beauty in all things. Raised in Baltimore, Maryland I grew up painting and drawing at my easel often inspired by the world around. During college, I pursued this passion farther and studied Fine Arts through sculpture, oil painting, and still-life drawings. To advance further into art, I started playing with film photography and quickly feel in love with the emotion and drama that photography offers.
After 3 years of assisting top photographers in the DMV area and working for a luxury wedding planner, Betty Lou Events, I decided to branch out and start my own wedding photography business. Now I am known for my wedding photography and fine art print images.
Nothing warms my soul and stomach more than a fresh vanilla latte with a little leaf or heart on top (if I could live at the cafe in Friends I would). If you ever see me walking around town or driving to new locations, I can guarantee that a coffee is most definitely in my hand.
Since I was little I always enjoyed being in the kitchen, especially baking. Since dating Aidan, I have grown to really love cooking meals, especially dinner. One of my favorites to cook with Aidan is Thai!
If I were to ever run away, it would be to the beach, specifically a tropical one. For me, nothing beats the warm sun touching my skin and the smell of the salty ocean filling my lungs. I'll find any excuse to escape to the sea.
Is that a dog I see across the street?! You best believe I am fast walking over there to meet that cute little fur-ball. Sometimes I'm afraid I might scare the owner but I can't help but say hello to every dog I see in passing.
Adventure is in my blood! From small spontaneous trips to cute cafes for work, to buying a train ticket to spend a couple days in NYC. I love to travel and to explore new places. However, I'm always drawn back to the heavenly beauty of the Virgin Islands. I could never get sick of those views.
I was born in Cincinnati, OH but raised in the beautiful city of Baltimore, MD. Once I marry my future husband, Aidan, I will move south to Richmond, VA where I will be based.
Being in the DMV area is so AMAZING and allows me to travel so easily to all my couples. More than that, I love to travel in general and will travel wherever you desire to wed your true love.
My love for photography has brought me everywhere from the beaches of the Virgin Islands to the concrete jungle of NYC. But regardless of where I travel, the place I call home is right in the arms of Aidan.
She captures the spirit of the subject in her photos. Truly can see she loves her work.
IF I HAD TO DESCRIBE THIS BUSINESS IN THREE WORDS, THEY WOULD BE GENUINE, JOYFUL, HOSPITABLE.
it all began with love.
My infatuation for capturing love first stemmed from my discovery of my faith and the study of St. John Paul II's teaching on the Theology of the Body (TOB). For those who don't understand this reference, I highly recommend reading bits and pieces since it is so dense and long but incredibly insightful and enlightening.
Regardless, TOB, became the reason I wanted to capture love. The basic element behind TOB is that God created man and woman. Both have unique characteristics and carry different qualities but together they partake in the love of the Father, Son, and Spirit (I should probably also mention that I was a Theology minor in college).
Without boring you too much, I was inspired to capture the Love of the Father in each of my couples. Not everyone may see it the way I do, but each time I see a couple come together in front of the camera and embrace one another, I see God who is Love.
